The Directors of the Art in Amsterdam Program:

The Art in Amsterdam program has been directed by Charles Goss and Robert Siegelman since the Summer of 1998. Both are instructors at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Tufts University, as well as practicing and exhibiting artists. Participants will share studio space at a small art school in Amsterdam, where both Charles and Robert will be regularly available for feedback, consultation and instruction. We can also help you to design a project or program of your own to work on during the two weeks.

Charles Goss works in sculpture, drawing, painting, photography, and installation art (www.charlesgoss.com). Charles is represented by the Bromfield Gallery, and has periodically shown internationally. In 2006 Charles had solo shows at the Bromfield Gallery in Boston (www.bromfieldartgallery.com) and at the Ruimte Gallery in Amsterdam, NL (www.ruimtevaarders.nl), two-person shows at Gallery 121 in Boston, MA and Galeries Lecoq in Berlin, Germany (www.galeries-lecoq.com), and in 2007 a solo show at The Gear Gallery, Amsterdam. He has been involved in the development and directing of courses in Europe, as well as Cuba, for the past 16 years.

Robert Siegelman has taught for many years. He has taught primarily at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and also at Tufts University, Art New England, through Massachusetts College of Art, and at other schools and universities.
