Applying:

Art in Amsterdam is ideal for those seeking an intense period of time, away from home, in which to work on their art while immersed in a highly stimulating European environment.

The program is designed for working artists, teachers, and serious students who are looking for the time, space, and challenge of working independently, but within a community of other artists. Course Credit is available through the program's affiliation with Massachusetts College of Art. This program is also a perfect opportunity for those who have been away from their art making for a while and are looking for a kick-start or an adventurous and supportive way to return to their work.

We are looking for committed, curious, and motivated participants.

Each year we bring together a collection of artists from diverse backgrounds and ages, and with various levels of experience and training. Some combine this experience with other travel in Europe before or after the program.

Application Procedure:

To complete the application process the following must be received:

  1. Completed Application Form

  4. A statement about yourself and your work, why you would like to be part of this program, and what you would like to gain from it.
